Rodney H. Nourse

Profile:
Rodney Nourse is a native of Biloxi and a 1971 graduate of Ole Miss (B.A., Political Science), a 1975 graduate of Mississippi College Jackson School of Law (J.D.), and a 1995 graduate of San Francisco State University (M.B.A.). He was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1979 and to the Louisiana Bar in 2002. Rodney's law practice focuses on real estate, wills and estates, municipal, administrative, corporate, and commercial transactions.

Rodney was Vice President, Corporate Development and Corporate Counsel for the Sazerac Company, New Orleans, Louisiana, before joining the firm.  There, he was actively involved in the formation of various joint ventures, the consummation of numerous transactions, and the strategic planning of the company's operating divisions.

In addition to practicing law, Rodney is an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at the University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Park campus.

Rodney has served on the City of Biloxi's Hurricane Katrina recovery effort, Reviving the Renaissance Committee, and is currently serving as a member of the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Rodney is also a wine enthusiast, having attended the Lyceé Viticole in Beaune, France, and having worked as Cellar Master for Acacia Winery, Napa, California.
