Michelle Smith was born and raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She attended the University of Mississippi where she received an undergraduate degree and a Masters Degree in Accountancy, with an emphasis in taxation. Michelle practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for two years with KPMG in Memphis, Tennessee. She received her law degree from the University of Mississippi in 2000, and lives in Ocean Springs, Mississippi with her husband Dan and their two daughters.
After being admitted to practice law in 2000, Michelle served as a law clerk to United States District Judge David C. Bramlette, III. She joined Page, Mannino, Peresich & McDermott, PLLC in 2002. Michelle is an associate with the firm handling primarily appellate and municipal law issues.
